Very simply, my life’s work is fragrance.
My vision was always to create a wardrobe of Ruth Mastenbroek fragrances. Modern fragrances based on classic forms, using high quality ingredients that make a unique and memorable statement. Two years after I perfected my signature fragrance, I created Amorosa, now available exclusively at Les Senteurs and online.
The inspiration for Amorosa is falling in love. In my case, it was my love affair with Italy, hence the name ‘Amorosa’ which means ‘a woman in love’.
I wanted to capture that excitement of a new love, to create an immediate, intense connection.
Inspired by the excitement and discovery of a new destination. The earth, mountains and the Italian skies. These influences have not only inspired the structure of the fragrance, but also the rich and vibrant colour palette of mocha and aqua in the packaging.
This inspiration has been translated into a fragrance that represents vulnerability through the delicacy of the white flower accord, but also power and inner strength, represented by the intensity of the woods and ambers in the base.
